Welcome! Please see below for more information on our clinical supervisors.

My Name is Ayesha Ghouri and I graduated from Yorkville In 2019. Since Graduating I have worked in a variety of different clinics with different populations. I have experience working with clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, adults, youths, criminal justice, mental health and substance use.

During my career I have had the opportunity to work with Youth in Yellowknife and understand the difficulty in navigating dual relationship while working in a rural/small community.

I use an eclectic approach but tend to lean towards solution focused modalities and strategies. I also know that therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in helping our clients. I am now in a place in my career where I feel I am ready to help other therapists, especially new ones because it is important to get good supervision early in your career to increase confidence and make the journey less confusing and isolating.

I currently work as a protection worker with Family and children services where I use my skills to assess for safety. I think these skills will be essential in being a supervisor because I want to make sure my supervisees are equipped and able to provide effective therapy to their clients and not inflict undue harm.

On a more fun note, I love anime, BTS, memes, TikTok and Netflix.

I look forward to supporting you in your clinical journey.
